My SKAGIT Story: Samantha Martin

"Attending Skagit Valley College has been one of the most influential and beneficial experiences in my life thus far. Skagit offers a small and intimate learning environment and the tight-knit community on campus fully embraces students and encourages student success. By utilizing the resources available to me — my instructors, classmates, advisors, tutors, mentors — I have excelled in my academics and in my position as a student leader. No man is an island, and the way that Skagit Valley College Whidbey Island Campus has helped me acknowledge that is what has made me a dedicated, opportunity-seeking student." ~ Samantha Martin Psychology major SVC Whidbey Island 2016 All-Washington Academic Team
